From a recent 2022 survey of black African secondary school students in the UK:

have personally experienced racism/discrimination

have experienced high stress/anxiety whilst trying to integrate into the society

have had coaching support with regards to issues they were facing.

have had no access to a Mentor to help them cope and integrate successfully
